I love it when summer is finally over and fall arrives... I am happy when the hot summer days are gone and we can feel the nip in the air... Leaves are changing colors and the cool breeze sweeps in... What's nice is when you can get all comfy and enjoy a hot chocolate with Andes Mint in it... I love the sound of our fireplace and when my allergies aren't acting up, we will go for it... There is something special about the fall...
I remember gathering leaves up in the fall and then jumping into the middle of them... I loved it when I could go for my runs early in the morning and take in all the sounds and colors around me... I use to run 9-10 miles a day before getting sick and that was my me time... I was able to take in the sights and sounds around me and not think about anything other than what is ahead... Looking ahead is a good thing instead of looking behind us and what was... I think this is why I love to go for drives still and escape reality... And what better time to do that than in the fall?
This is the time of year that would make for a perfect road trip to Vermont or one of the Southern States... When my daughter lived in North Carolina I loved it when I could drive down the road and all the leaves were falling around us... Every bend was a new display of color and beauty and enjoying the autumn hues of red, yellow and orange can take your breath away... How awesome it was to wake up to the Cardinals and Blue-jays playing in the yard... The cute little squirrels were scurrying in the leaves while scavenging for nuts and berries... What's nice is that if I close my eyes I can still smell the wet leaves in the morning and visualize the deep rich colors of the Autumn leaves that fall to the ground... This time of year is one of my favorite times of the year... Now, I am thinking that I need to grab a cup of hot coco with an Andes Mint and tiny little white marshmallows and go somewhere where I can watch the fall come to life... I think I am ready to pack up my bags and go check out some foliage... Anyone up for a drive to find Fall Leaves?

How about a drive to see the fall colors on Friday after we get the errands done? I can bring a thermos of hot chocolate and we can find a quiet place to just sit and admire the view.
Sounds like a plan... but who is anonymous? lol... I can fix the double entry...
