Oh NO He Didn't Say That-

I go to Yahoo and see what the current news is and there is a picture of Steve Nash... If you do not know who he is, he is #13 with the Phoenix Suns... He was asked if he thought the Phoenix Suns would get to the playoffs and this is what he said word ofr word;

"To be honest, if I was outside this picture and a betting man, I would probably pick us to be outside of the playoffs considering all the changes and the new guys," team leader Steve Nash said after Sunday's team practice.

Nash was particularly frustrated with the process of going from a team he felt was very close to winning an NBA Championship to essentially starting over again.
"I spent four months this summer and a month this training camp feeling like I'm trying to get to the top," Nash said.

"It's hard as a competitor to convince yourself every day all summer and then through the preseason that you're going to get back to where you were and hopefully take the next step, and then you realize that camp is starting all over again and it's not quite as linear as you made it out to yourself all summer."

Ok! That just is not cool that he thinks that, so he best be wrong about all of this...

Ok, also while I am talking about the Phoenix Suns, if anyone knows where I can get a 2T outfit for a boy that is Phoenix Suns, can you let me know? I am going to have to make sure that my grandson knows which team to go for and it is not the Utah Jazz, Lakers or San Antonio Spurs... So I might as well start off teaching him while he is young... My other grandsons are more into other things and not too sure what they think on basketball since usually when I see them they are more interested in games on the TV or computer... So I am going to have to do some brainwashing of JJ... :) Shhh don't tell anyone about that...

BTW... Phoenix will be playing against Portland tomorrow night at 10pm EST...

The Biggest Loser Casting Call

My daughter Jessica and I went to Phoenix when she was here visiting. I took some pictures from her casting call. Now many of you know how I am about taking my picture. But I did let Jessica's mother in law Nancy take a couple of me with Dane and Blaine. If you watch the show, they are the black team. I also have a pic of me with the Phx Suns... Well Kinda. Jessica said I can't post the pictures till after the finale, and that was tonight. So here are some of mine from her casting call. I hope you enjoy them... She didn't make it for this next season. But she is determined to try till she succeeds. She wants me to join her on this next one. Not sure what my Drs will say about that. But a mom will do what a mom will do. Now , I'm not sure what that will be, but we will see, lol.



The Crowd when we got there... It wrapped all around the stadium...



As you can see there are a lot of lines here. They just kept coming. It was kinda funny though. These ladies came by and didn't know it was a casting call for the Biggest Loser and they wanted to sale some of their items. What was funny was the look on their face when I told them. They were selling Girl Scout Cookies...



JJ was in the area Jessica was when she first arrived. She had a VIP pass, so that was nice, otherwise it would have taken us all day. She got in right away... What a blessing that was...



Jessica was inside talking to some of the other possible contestants. She is the one in the black and red shirt. Her mother in law said it looked too sexy lol.



While Jessica was inside. Nancy and I decided to go venture around and take Pics. We ran into Dane and Blaine. So I took my pic with them. Although I hate pictures. They seem to add 50 pounds, ughhhhh.


Jessica was put into a group of 15 other people. Not sure that is a good idea when so many are crowded around. I told her she should have done a table dance, lol. She would have stood out. But she needed to keep her cloths on, lol.

Nancy and I were trying to take pictures of Jessica in the building. But the blasted windows was causing our cameras to flash back at us...


Jessica is coming out of the interview. She looked so pretty. I told her she wasn't as big as most that was there. She looked small compared to some.

So I told them if they let me take a pic of Jessica with them, I would give them a quarter, lol. They said sweet, so here is the pic of Jessica with the black team. Pretty cool guys.



I couldn't find Steve Nash, so I had to take a pic next to his poster... Not the same, but what can I do.

So this is some of the pictures that was taken on this day. It was interesting and fun. It just took me a long time to post the events of the day since Jessica said I couldn't.

New Years Resolutions

Do you make New Years Resolutions? I don't... I know I will break them, so why promise myself that I will do something when I know I won't.

I think if I was going to make a resolution it would be to be less bossy and not grumble as much. I do that all too well. Although some people will say I don't. But those who know me the most will agree with me on this issue, lol... My daughter Jessica has a New Years resolution, and that is to loose weight. You know that is the top thing on the list of things people want to change. The next is to stop smoking. What gets me about the smoking thing is that people are warned before they start that it is dangerous and causes health problems, and yet they still do it. But then when they want to stop, they say it is because they want to be healthier and that it is too expensive. Hmmmm, I think that is something that that most know before starting. It is just one of those things that makes me wonder why people do it to begin with.

Now with the weight thing, I can see that. I can stand to loose some weight. I would love to get down to a size 10 or so. But will that happen? I doubt it... Am I gonna worry about it? Not Really! If I loose weight, I do, and if I don;t I don't. It just not one one of those things I am gonna stress over at all.

I would love to hear what your New Years resolution is and if you think you can keep it or not. :)

But I hope that you all have a great New Year and I hope that the Phoenix Suns wins big time and that Shaq goes back to someone else s team :) Anyone but my team...

What is the World Coming Too?

Ok, now this is not a good thing at all. And just unfair by all standards.... Are you wondering what I am talking about. Well, here is the bad news... Steve Nash was suspended for helping a teamate.

“Steve was running over to protect a teammate and he was shoved to the ground. How is that a suspension? And if it is, how is what McGrady did not a suspension?

I wonder if the NBA has something against the Suns. If we all remember there was that Ref that was betting on the teams to win and would make bad calls. Could this be another one of those moments in time? Hummm, makes me wonder... Ughhhhhhhh, stupid Houston.

I tell you.... There is something about these Texas teams that is just bad news. First San Antonio breaking Steve Nashes nose and playing dirty, now there is the Houston Rockets... I say we all need to band together and get them out of the NBA.

Shaq did a good job on winning against Sacramento... Which I am surprised but happy that he came through when the team needed him most....

New Layout

Ok... now alot of you will wonder what the heck is Sandie doing with a basketball background on here. Well...I love the Phoenix Suns. In reality, they are the only team in my mind that really counts. Although I think it is terrible that they have Shaq on the Suns. I think they should send him to San Antonio or something and let him ruin thier teams.

But it is basketball season now and I am looking forward to it. I one day would like to go to a Phoenix Suns and Utah jazz game. Of course in Utah, lol. But I would like to hold up a sign that says " NOT ALL PEOPLE THAT LIVE IN UTAH LIKE THE SPAZZ".. Not sure what the reaction would be, but that would be fun to do. Of course have to sit close to the front, like in 5th row and also wear a Steve Nash Shirt or Phx Suns shirt, lol. Hummm, not sure if I am looking for trouble or not... But what the hey, this could be fun. Would be funner if Shaq wasn't on the same court as the Suns though. Hmmmmmmm, I won't go there on that anymore...
