How Insensitive People Can Be!

I just don't get it. Tonight I was reading on CNN's website about this young man who committed suicide with viewers on the Internet watching him die. They did nothing. Some prompted him to take more medicine to accomplish what he wanted to do. Others didn't believe him. Some people have no conscious. After the boy was lying there lifeless, someone finally called the moderator and they located him and he was dead.

What are people thinking? This young man obviously was calling out for help. He was talking to people while he was doing it, and yet nobody cared enough to help him or get someone out to his apartment to help him. I feel bad for his family. What horrible sadness they must be feeling and loss. This young man was going to college to be an EMT and wanted to help others. How sad to know that he had a desire to help others, yet nobody cared to help him.

I know people who have committed suicide and many people miss the signs. If someone is depressed or talking about suicide. Please take them serious. They are in need of help and crying out.
