What Will You Do to Do What Needs to Be Done?

It's pretty sad when your bed keeps calling your name and then it puts little messages in your brain that it is time to sleep... So eventually you give in to that little voice that tells you it is tired and you wake up a day or so later and realize you have missed out on alot of things...

I got thinking about this today... As I was napping for the third time it seems... But if we stopped doing things just because we were tired or didn't feel good, how much would get done? I tried to reason with my good friend Laura on this and she didn't get it... She told me that if my body was saying it needed sleep, then it needed it for some reason... But what about when you are always tired, could it be that your brain or body is trying to make it so it doesn't want to do anything... I think if you are breathing and walking around, even if your not walking normally :), you should be doing something... Sound people just stop doing because they are tired? Shoot 99.9% of the world can claim they are tired and use it as an excuse to not do something...

But then the part of my brain that reasons things out, and yes it does happen on occasion,lol... But my brain knows it needs rest and sleep. But isn't there such a thing as too much rest or sleep... You can sleep your life away and have nothing to account for it... Nothing would be accomplished! There are alot of different things that can make a person tired and I have many of them... But I also have issues sleeping my life away if I don't have too... There are times I may have to take extra Mestinon when I need extra things done like the upcoming Women of Faith... Or I have to take extra pain medicines to get through something or prepare for something... Then my wondering mind has to question to what length does a person go to do something and what risks are they willing to take?

I'm not sure I have answers for all of these things... Things are as they are and that is it... BTW I would like to thank my other friend for helping me edit this blog posting... My brain is too tired to thing completely, lol... Which is funny when I am doing a blog on thinking...

I am going to close this in a minute or so and guess what I am going to do? Yep, I am going to go back and lay down... This week is going to be a long one that is filled with decisions and getting ready for Easter... My grandson wants to do the Stations of the Cross Friday and if I can get a car parked on the opposite end of the walk, I may do that... How can you tell a child no when it has to do with acknowledging the death and Resurrection of Christ? My answer is, you can't... but I know I will be dog tired by the end of it... Even though it is a short walk... But seems like eternity when you are tired...

Oh well... now for nap time again... Have a good night world... Checking out of reality for a bit...

I know you have been tired and for good reason. Do you really think you should be doing the Stations of the Cross? Isn't that from Bluff Street to the Catholic Church and it's all walking? If you do decide to and I hope you decide against it. I think you should have JJ in his stroller. That will help you from getting overly tired. This is just a suggestion and I know you will do what you want to do. Be careful and remember if you get too tired you aren't going to be doing anyone any good.

Thanks, Laura
