A Little Relief on the Horizon

This blog posting is going to be on something bit different... This guy came to our church named Dr. Brent Noorda... He is a NUCCA chiropractor... The name of his place is Balanced Spine Care.... I am the kind of person that can fall standing still, seriously... Nothing in my life is balanced, so this should be interesting, lol...  I am still confused about what that really means but it has made some difference... My grandson JJ just says that he is fixing my head since it is broke, lol... Gotta love the little guy... Normally I take alot of meds, and still do, but I have noticed that my headaches aren't as bad everyday... I always have a headache it seems, but when they aren't the kind where you want to shoot yourself, then that is a good thing... I have had to take less medicines for the muscle spasms that are a part of my daily life which are good... I usually take way over the amount that I should for those, but lately I am able to cut them back a little each day... Not really sure on the other things, but right now the pain management is the major issue with me... Anything that can help is a positive, and better than the other option (shooting myself) out there right now I guess...

I do think that it is something that should be looked into... For a person like me who lives on Baclofen and Tyenol along with other pain meds, it helps to have a little bit of relief from the pain from that and in some cases the nausea that the medicines bring on... It can be very frustrating when you get sick from the time you wake up till you go to bed and in the middle of the night... I know that everything can't be changed since what I have is auto immune, but the headaches, nasuea and muscle spasms that can be less intense is a major thing for me... Just in case Dr. Noorda comes to my blog, I wanted to thank you... Even though I may be a way difficult case :) and maybe too much of a challenge... At the end of the day he may be wondering "What the Heck" ,lol...

If you want some more information on him you can go to his homepage at:
There are many that know the specifics of what I have and such and I do appreciate all those who try to help... I think I am at the point where I am open to whatever since it seems like all I do is get nauseated and hurt alot... But if you live in the Southern Utah area, you should check him out... He doesn't hurt, which is a HUGE plus in my book :)

He is located at ;
169 W 2710 S Circle, Suite #204, Saint George, UT 84790
435-688-2292

It is by the Walmart in Bloomington... The Wyndham Hotel is by it... Not sure what the name of the building is that he is in though... It's by the cud-a-sac though on the left hand side... If I can find it, others can... I don't even know what side of town I live on... Dr. Noorda if you come on here, you are more than welcome to comment or add anything you would like :)

Hi Sandie, glad to hear that something is working. I know it has been hard for you and everyday you live with this pain from the Myasthenia Gravis. I would like to get more information on Dr. Noorda. You wouldn't put something in your blog or out there for others to read if he wasn't worth checking into. My prayers are with you and I pray that your symptoms can be eased so you can rest better, even if for a short time. Any relief is better than no relief.

Can we just call his office to make an appointment and how hard is he to get in to see? I could use some relief! I have lower back problems that cause me a great deal of pain. Nothing like what you go through though. Thanks for posting his information Sandie. I have been looking for someone to help me. I will check it out. I live in Bloomington and know approximately where he is located. Is it the Executive Building your talking about?

Thanks for the comments... You should be able to call his office and make an appointment... I don't work there and just a patient, but I am sure it is like any other place... I think that is the name of the building... I have a really bad memory and I just drive to where it is... I don't think you guys would be disappointed and he hasn't made my headaches worse, which is great... I have been to other places and I always come out hurting even more... You should give him a try... I think they also have massages... I haven't gotten one, but I am sure that is a perk... :)

Thanks Sandie, you are awesome. I would like to invite any of your readers (and you of course) to come to our dinner in 2 weeks at the Wingate. Another patient that has found the joys of NUCCA is going to share his story. It's free but you just have to call the office and come in to get your tickets.
