Set Me Free

I was on facebook and just got done doing the blog on "Christians that Commit Suicide"... I thought it was interesting how of all the videos to pop up my Facebook Wall was this video Performance from Victory World Outreach Centers Ignite Student Ministries SHOCKWAVE event with a drama skit to the Casting Crowns Song Set Me Free. The video is posted below... It's worth the time to watch it...

As watching this video there are all kinds of things that we need to be set free from... I would think we all have some kind of things we hold onto, myself included... My list may go on and on and would make a whole book...  I wonder if God is trying to tell me something or I am reading more into things... I did find it interesting that this video has been the topic of a few conversations lately... For whatever reason, its a great song by my favorite group... I put part of the lyrics on here...

Set Me Free Lyrics- By Casting Crowns

It hasn't always been this way
I remember brighter days
Before the dark ones came
Stole my mind
And wrapped my souls in chains

Now I live among the dead
Fighting voices in my head
Hoping someone hears me crying in the night
And carries me away

Set me free of these chains holding me
Is anybody out there hearing me?
Set me free

I needed this video message today. I have been experiencing spiritual bondage and need to be set free.

Thanks for dropping in... It's kinda funny how the right message comes when we need it... My friend Julia did a share just as I was doing the other blog... I guess they work good together or in a way helps make sense in a weird kinda of way... Casting Crowns have so many songs that speak to those who are at their wits end and I think I have pretty much been there lately... I was glad I posted this post along with the suicide one...

It was like, OK God, I need some kind of a sign and there this video was on my wall... And that was in no time at all... Too bad He doesn't answer that fast on everything...
