I Got Home Safe and Sound

I just got home a couple of hours ago. It was a very long trip home. We got delayed in Charlotte and luckily got to JFK in New York in time to catch my flight to Las Vegas. I flew into Vegas around 1 am. I must say that was a good flight. Delta has these monitors that is attached to your seats. You can watch TV free of charge or you can purchase a movie if you like on HBO. They also have trivia games and such. It is good to have that since it passes time by. My other flights was on small airplanes and wasn't too fond of that.

But I will post some pictures on here of my adventures in North Carolina when I get them downloaded. It may be sometime today or tomorrow. Depending on how I feel and if I wake up from my nap or just wake up tomorrow am. :)

My Trip To Vegas

Yesterday my friend Brenda and I went to Las Vegas. Let me tell you that it was way cold. You see, her driver side window doesn't go up. So here we are driving to Vegas to get her daughter and the wind is blowing and it is blasted cold out there. And to boot, she is a horrible driver. If anyone thought I was bad, Brenda has me beat by a lot, lol. She drives 25 miles under the speed limit and she doesn't use her turn signal and she doesn't watch where people are. So I gather God must have been in control last night,lol. We made it home alive and in one piece. What a concept that is, lol.

Here in St. George we are suppose to get rain and it will be a wet weekend. We do need the rain though. So that will be nice...

So onto today. A new day is here and I am going to go to our Secret Sister meeting at church. We get to find out who our Secret Sister is. I wonder if it is who I thought it was. I will let you know later on that one.

My Brain Doesn't Want To Work Sometimes

I am in the middle of doing a Bible Study of the book of Ephesians. I am at a place where they are talking about the Living Stone (Jesus Christ) and who the reciepients are. This is actually a question from 1. Peter. But my brain is tired and I need to take a hiatus from this study and do something else.

I do wonder though if I make it more complicated or what? Should it be this difficult or is it me? Now we better not ask Jessica, Beckiah, Bridgette, or Craig that question. I know what they would say.

But other then this, I am just playing around here on the computer and looking forward to going to the Tender Touch Gala next week. It is also my anniversary next week. Which is cool.... It will be our 28th. Wow, how did I do that I wonder? My husband Chuck would wonder how he did that too, lol. But all in all it has been a great 28 yrs. I am going to go to Vegas on the 29th and going to do something. Im not sure what that is... Oh, by the way, you may think what does that picture at the top have to do with anything? It doesn't,lol. I just liked the picture and wanted to use it...
