Shooting Would Be Too Easy

Today I wake up in a somewhat decent mood to only have that blown out of the water 15 minutes after I wake up... Bridgette, my sister Denise and myself are getting ready to head to Lin's Marketplace to get some food... Once in awhile that is a needed thing around here... But on the way there this s the stupid argument that takes place between my sister and I over pettiness... Not sure if I should have gotten as mad as I did since it was not worth the fighting over or what, but it is what it is... On our way to the store, we get ticked and she wants me to turn around and take her home... Ughhh, so there I go in the middle of the road turning around and not being impressed at all... But head back to town to get food and got some great deals on oranges and such at Lin's... I love it when I can get oranges for 38 cents a pound...
After we get food Bridgette and I decided to meet Jessica at McDonald's... Not really to eat, but she has it for one of the guys that just started there... So we go and hang out there so Bridgette can pick up this guy... But it was OK... I got a free coffee out of it and a yogurt parfait... Two of my favorite things at McDonald's...

We got home and decided to go check out a park that I just found out we had here in Veyo... It was pretty cute and would be awesome in the summer time...  There are alot of trees and such there... I took a pic of JJ on the firetruck... There are alot of old fashioned things there... The park is pretty hard to find... But if I find an address for it, I will post it here... It is one of those really old ones and a cemetery is next to it... Jessica and I also decided to go get baby chicks tomorrow and have fresh eggs in a few months... Other than that, same stuff different day...

Congradulations Bridgette

Time has come and Bridgette has graduated from Tuacahn. She was beautiful and what an awesome ceremony they offered.

It was a really nice day. My sister Denise (Bridgette's mom) and her dad Randy came to the ceremony and then they are in Arizona right now. Bridgette's older brother is getting married this weekend. It was nice getting to see my sister again. I can tell Bridgette was happy as well. Denise came here from Tennessee and I am sure she will say Bridgette was worth the trip to come see. And Randy lives in Phoenix. It was nice to see them attend this special day with their daughter (my niece). My sister Joyce and her husband Ira was also there and friends from church and Bridgette's co-workers. It was pretty awesome as well when they let the fireworks off at the end of the ceremony... I am going to put some of the pictures from her graduation on here. I hope you enjoy your journey. She has come a long way and we are very proud of her accomplishments. We have a lot of pictures, they will be posted on my myspace... If you are a friend, you can view the rest when I get them loaded.

My Niece is getting ready to graduate... :)

Wow, I can't believe it has been four years since Bridgette moved in here with us. She will be graduation on May 20th. Time has gone by fast... There has been good days and bad days, but most of all good days.

I do wish her the very best for her future and I am soooooooo proud of how she has done in life and school. She will be a very kind and loving adult with a bit of a cocky attitude to say the least. But what they hey... You gotta love them anyway... I know Bridgette can be anything she puts her mind too. She has the personality and the motivation. We all know she knows how to get what she wants, lol.

Her mom and dad will be coming here to see her graduate. I think that is awesome. It has been awhile since she saw her mom and I think it is a good time for her to rebuild relationships and realize that her mom loves her very much and I am sure her parents are extremely proud of her as well. I don't know what Bridgette's plans are after she graduates. She is like most teenagers, they have a whole pages of dreams and ideas for their future. And there is nothing wrong with that at all. it's better to have a dream and goal, rather then sit on the sidelines and watch your life go by. Now is the time to grab the bull by the horns and enjoy the ride.

If you read this Bridgette, I want to tell you how very proud I am of you. You have worked very hard and getting to where you are. You are beautiful and an inspiration to many. Do what makes you happy, but be happy being just who you are... Don't change because someone tells you to, change because you want to.

Getting Ready to Go to Az

I feel bad for Chuck, well kinda, lol. We had our water heater blow its cork and we had water in the carpeting. What is a pain is that it stunk too. So we had to rent a steam cleaner to get it all out. Then after that, I told Chuck since we already rented it, we might as well clean the other carpets. Hummm, let me tell you that Chuck gave me a goofy look on that one. So here he is cleaning the carpets, moving the furniture around and trying to appease me, lol. I do appreciate getting it done. But now that it is done.

I have a nice clean area for my Christmas Tree when I get back from Az after Thanksgiving.Yeahhh, I love to decorate for Christmas. So guess what we will be doing? But I won't say that too loud. Chuck doesn't like to decorate that much, lol. So I will break it to him gently, or I will have my brother in law Craig come over and help. Chuck will be home for Thanksgiving. I guess he is going to go to his friend Glenns house. He will enjoy that I am sure.

I am going to go to a little hole in the world called Elfrida Az, it is about 90 minutes from Tucson. My parents live there and my nieces brothers. They will all be coming over to my mom and dads house. I am sure it will be nice to have everyone together. It has been a long time since that has happened. Although it isnt all of us. My sisters Joyce and Denise won't be there. It would be nice if they were there. But Bren will be there and my brother Dennis will be there on Friday sometime. My nephew Brandon may come here to visit. That will be cool.

But other then that, nothing more is going on with my day. Now it is time to just sit and do nothing and make sure things are going to be done before I leave for 4 days. Oh, one other thing, I will be bringing a foster dog back with me. Her name is Bonnie and she looks sweet for sure.

Poor Bridgette

I feel bad for Bridgette. Today she had one of her teeth pulled in the back of her mouth. She was having alot of pain with it. She had a root canal done, but there must have been a live nerve in there somewhere. She had to have it surgerically removed. She did good even though she was afraid. I think she inherited alot of my side of the families tooth problems. Its pretty sad when a 17 yr old has to have a tooth pulled out. It was brittle and breaking away. But after tonight, it should be better and she shouldn't be in much pain. She might be uncomfortable. But the worse will be over soon. I am proud of how good she did today. She was and is a brave little soul :)

Other then that, all is well. I have been a slacker today other then doing my churches bullitins and Bible Study. We only have two more lessons and then we should be done with Ephesians. It is a good study though, hard to get the grasp at first, but good. I think we are doing the book of James next. So will see how that goes and how difficult it will be.

But now I am going to get ready to do my Decembers Christmas newsletter. We will see how that goes and I still need to do my article.

My Encounter with Ernestos- Best Enchiladas

I worked today for about 6 hours and then went to Ernesto's with Bridgette. I have made a pictorial of this. If you haven't been there then you should go... It is located in the Phoenix Plaza on Sunset. It has very yummy food. This post is a bit of a teaser for my daughter Jessica in North Carolina. When she and her husband lived here, this was her favorite place to go. She loves the Chimichangas ? on spelling. But when she comes to visit, this is the place that is the top of the list for her to go too. Last time a few months ago when she was here for a couple weeks. I can't tell you how many times we either went to the one in Phoenix Plaza or the one on St. George Blvd. My personal favorite is the one on Sunset.

But tonight Bridgette and I had a nice time. I had the # 27 and usually I get the #21. You have got to try these. Would I send you somewhere bad? Nope, not me.... Bridgette had the Cheese Enchiladas, not sure what number. But also what is yummy is the chili verde. Yummm Yummmm.

But back to Jessica. A friend of hers told her that Ernesto's was closed, so I just had to force myself to go there tonight and eat... It was hard but someone had to do it, lol. But when you read this Jessica you will see that it is still open and was really busy... I was thinking of you the whole time I was there... I hope you enjoy my pictures, lol.
I took a picture of my meal, but it didn't turn out too good. Good thing it tasted better then it looked on camera. It was too blurry. But the food one on here is Bridgette's. :) She substituted her beans for double rice... But that's ok. Let me add too, that she ruined it by putting ranch on it, lol. Yuckkkkkkk, but I guess to each their own,lol

At the top is the picture of the owners, they were great while I was taking pics for Jessica and then Bridgette is drinking an Orchata... Can't spell that, but it is yummy. We should sell those at Lin's Marketplace or have a delivery service, lol. P. S. If anyone who is reading this is by Phoenix Plaza, you can bring me one at Lin's tomorrow after 10,lol That is a hint, lol... Ok, well you don't have too. I am just playing with you :) But it is a Cinnamon rice drink. Very good if you haven't had one yet...

BTW everyone, if you are planning on going on November 15th. They had a sign up that they will be closed. Not sure why, but they will be...

Will People Remember You When You Are Gone???

Have you ever thought about what it will be like when you are no longer here? Will your presence make a difference in someone elses life? Or will they look back and say "Who?" I don't remember that person! I would hope that when I am gone that I have made some impression on someone. And not a bad one at that. I would hope that people would remember the good things and not all of the bad things. You know we all have something bad and most of my family is really fast at pointing out my bad points, lol. Good thing I love then anyhow...

What are some of the top 10 things that I want people to remember about me? Here is some of my list...

10. That I showed that you don't have to be perfect to be a Christian... I am far from that!
09. That I loved to listen to good music and hated rap crap and hip hop...
08. That I was persistant and didn't give up... Even when the going got rough.
07. That I loved to help people out and loved rescuing animals
06. That I was a bit vocal... But not always in a bad way. I would say what was on my mind. That I was a stubborn and wouldn't listen ... But was smart enough to question when people were wrong and I shouldn't be listening to thier garbage...Although sometimes I should have listened, lol
05. That I enjoyed watching Touched By An Angel, Little House on the Praire, Footloose, Dirty Dancing and Fun Shows... Not Junk Shows
04. I loved to sit out in the rain and watch rainbows and clouds. I loved to see what shapes are in the clouds... Most of the times I would see animals...
03. That I loved my family, even when they would get aggrevated when I would get bossy. You know I have the tendancy to do that from time to time...
02. That I was not ashamed to witness to others about Jesus Christ and spead the good news that He loves them and that He died for thier sins.
01. That they know I am in Heaven...And that I loved my daughters Jessica and Beckiah and my grandsons, Tyson, Jace, Ashton and JJ. That I would give my life for them if I had too and thier husbands(Jason). I also love my niece Bridgette and my family and that God above all is head of my family and I am a follower of Christ...

Share with me the things you would want people to remember about you. Are you going to leave a lasting impression upon the hearts of those around you and in this world, or are you going to be one of those people that is a destoyer of what is good and that will be your legacy.
