Go Fast GG- Go Fast

This is a God thing for sure... I had JJ and Bridgette in the van and we were heading to drop the van off in Washington at my husbands work so he can get home tonight.

We turn on River Rd at the Zion Factory Outlet and I just get around the corner and JJ is saying from his car seat to Go Fast GG- Go Fast... So I am going to humor him since I am not up to speed yet... He gets a kick out of the van/car going fast. But this time it was very important. Just as I got up to speed, not even a 1/2 second behind me a car comes speeding out of the Zion Factory outlet... I am wondering if it was someone trying to steal the car, because they were going very fast, didn't stop or anything. I would say they were going was over the speed limit through the parking lot, and a very crowded one at that.

Back to the incident, I get up to speed and this car comes flying out, and the green car that is directly behind me is hit by this car that literally took flight because it was going so fast. A  police officer was getting ready to pass this car ... The sirens and lights went on from the police officer... I was really glad to see that there was a police officer so close and at the scene. I was wondering if the officer was going to give me a ticket because I speeded up before that because of what JJ told me, although I was still not up to the speed limit for that road.  But I looked in my rear view mirror to see the car hit the one, roll in air/bounce off the car, land on it's wheels and land across the street at another factory outlet area and finally skidded to a stop at the Chilies.... If it wasn't for JJ saying Go Fast GG-Go Fast, we would have been the one hit and our van would have had alot more damage since it is a taller vehicle. I am sure that God put those words into JJ's little 3 yr old voice in order for me to speed past the area where the car came flying out of... It would have hit Bridgette's side without a doubt.

Poor Bridgette is still shaken and said her life flashed before her eyes. I was thinking at the time to get far enough ahead in case this becomes a police chase and not get run over in the process and get to a safe place and distance... I guess that's the defensive driver in me... But this time I was so tired and eyes burning because of being so overly tired... Not sure my reaction time would have been a good one without JJ's input.

I do hope and pray that everyone involved in this accident is ok and that nobody was seriously hurt... I just read more on Dixie Press and I guess three were injured and they are unsure as to what exactly happend, but the car was equipped with handicapped equipment...

The Worse In Me- And JJ

Well, I didn't go to church today... Seems like it has been a few weeks or at least a couple weeks... I am sure Satan is having a heyday over this whole thing... But it seems to never fail that I am not feeling good and it seems like alot of that is happening lately... Not sure if it is because I haven't gone to my Dr's. Haven't taken any of my meds or just the combination of whole bunch of things... There are times I just want to say "Ok, God now is the day"... Then I recant my thinking on that one... So I am in my room and putting this on my blog and I know Satan is smirking and thinking he is winning at his nasty deeds and deception... I really should have gone to church today and I wanted to listen to the sermon about what the benefits of death are... Kinda morbid, but I guess it all depends on where you are at in your relationship with Christ, or aleast thats my thinking... I guess I will have to get the CD and listen to it...

P.S. I post this blog and if anyone has noticed I have songs on my blog that shuffle at random... The song that radomly comes up is On Top of the World by the Carpenters... Or Geeze


JJ had his birthday party yesterday and he is 3 yrs old now... He is growing up very fast... I remember when he was first born... I am sure his parents do as well,lol. But I was in the room and was that a special and yet stressful time... He has grown into a great young man... JJ had a tour of the fire station, and some of the kids got to dress up... We don't celebrate Halloween, so this was a good chance for JJ to get dressed up as a fireman... He loved that. He got lots of presents from many people, too many to list and his big present was a Spiderman Bike with the safety gear from his mommy and daddy... I hope you have a great 100 more years JJ.... Unproductive Day and Pictures

Today was somewhat unproductive... Which is nice for a change... Jessica had an interview at a tax place for a receptionist. It may actually be a good thing. That way she can have a life so to speak... Otherwise if she gets the managers job. She will be married to her job and have little time with JJ...

Today we woke up to no power again. This was actually a planned thing. I guess Rocky Mountain Power had to update some of thier equipement. We went into town to eat breakfast since there was no power to cook anything and since Jessica had to go to the interview, we went to the church to do her hair since we couldn't plug in her curling iron or staightner... She said the interview went good and that she will have a second interview on Monday I believe... Atleast this one is in person not over Skype... Can't stand that program. It never fails to bog down my computer.

After we had breakfast we went up to Pioneer Park and took some pictures of JJ, Jessica and my sister Denise... I will post them on here. Eventually I got to come home and I took a much needed nap... So that is it for my day of doing nothing so to speak...

I really liked this picture of Jessica and JJ... We were talking about Jesus here and they were stairing up to heaven. I am going to do a video of JJ doing his prayers at night and talking to Jesus sometime... It's way cute...

This is my sister Denise... She was sitting in the back of the van with JJ as we were waiting for Jessica to get out of her interview... I sure hope she gets it... If you look at the pics you will see how hot the day was... Ugh and double ughhh on that one...

Spiders EEEk

Ok, so here is the scenerio for you... You are sitting at your computer and you are completely emmerged in farmville on facebook. You are listening to the cows moo, chickens cluck and all of the muckety muck that goes along on a farm. Now out of nowhere out comes a spider that comes and sits on your keyboard... What the heck is up with that one?

SPIDERS DO NOT BELONG ON MY KEYBOARD...

When you see what your grandson would think is a cute little itsy bitsy spider doing a walk about, you scream and throw the keyboard and scare your little grandson... Not a good moment at all... But be advised any future spiders that would think thye can dwell upon my keyboard, your life will be cut short and you will DIE... HEAR ME... DIE

Back to the real life and St. George

What a Week

Well, Jessica was dropped off at the airport in Las Vegas on Tuesday and she is now home in North Carolina along with JJ. She was here for 5 weeks. You would think that things would be calmer. On some level they are, but not all. NOW< I have to work on moving, yuck and double yuck. I hate, hate and did I say hate moving. But we are doing that on the first, but hoping really to get started moving in this weekend sometime. My husband chuck will be home on Sunday,so I really want him here to help with the heavy stuff and his tools. I think I have alot of other help for moving day. I hope atleast. It will take a number of people to get it all back there.

My sister Joyce and her husband is here with us. She is good at helping and she will be renting one of the apartments that is on the property we are getting. So that will be good to help defray the extra cost. My brother in law Craig is also renting one of the apartments. We will have to pay a bit more, but not much more... I will be sure to post pictures on here of the move.

To those that are going to be here to help that is reading this. Thanks for the extra hands... They are appreciated.

I will be posting more later... OH... Jessica, be sure to give Mr Mr a big hug and kiss for me...

Getting Ready to Move

Life is still crazy. Jessica and JJ is going back to North Carolina on Tuesday and then we have to get ready to move on the first. How fun does that sound to you, lol. It is only right behind where we live now, so that won't be really bad... But moving is moving and i hate moving and packing. Plus I get a bit ornery to be around when we are moving. Everyone here at the house says that atleast. I guess I get a bit stressed out and I want it done now, and don't want to wait.

Other then that, things are good. Jessica is working at clipping away her hundreds of coupons so she can do the triple coupons and doubles when she gets back to North Carolina. She is excited about that. She literally has 100's of coupons, its nuts... The other day when we went to the store. We had to have one cart for her coupon books and such and then the other for JJ and the items we bought, lol. I have to give her Kudos's, she figured out a good system to save tons of money. But, wow! It takes alot of time. But she is a stay at home mommy, so I guess it works for her. I do wish we had double and triple coupons here. I might just go out and do the same thing. My husband is kinda weird about it though. He has it in his head that she buys whatever she has a coupon for whether she uses it or not. But that isn't true,lol. She uses what she wants, and passes on to others what she doesn't use. But hey, if you can get it free, why not?

Just Shoot Me and Run Me Over With a Truck...

I feel like doo doo and it just doesn't seem to get any better. My daughter Jessica and JJ got here last week and from a few days before, I have been sick. What is up with that. There was a couple of days when things were ok.

Not only was I sick, Jessica, JJ and my other daughter Rebechia and the boys are sick. Craig has been sick, but he had to have a stint put in his heart last week. So it has been one of those weeks to say the least. I am ready for new and exciting things to happen and for the fun to begin.

On a good note, Jessica and JJ are feeling better. They tire me out... She can go and go and go and I'm like, just shoot me right now, lol. I hope that everyone else is feeling better and that the flu has bypassed them.

Jessica is having a pampered chef party here at my house tomorrow night. Which should be interesting. If I am sick, I will stay in the room and get some rest. Even though that will be hard when so many friends are coming over.

Tired and Not Feeling Good

Chuck and I went out to dinner tonight, and it has proven to be a very long day. I was at the hospital till around 4 or 5. My brother in law is there right now and being observed. So we will see how that goes. I have been sick for a week or more. I just hope I get to feeling better. Its a good thing there is alot of medicine that I can take and do take. I just want to feel better when Jessica gets here tomorrow. Plus I have to drive to Vegas to get her and to go to my Drs appointment tomorrow morning as well. So I will see how that goes.

I want to feel better too so I can go to Golds Gym. It is no fun doing things over there when you don't feel good. I kinda of have the attitude of "JUST SHOOT ME". But I know I will feel better soon, if not I will have to fake it :)

I am looking for baby blankets and crib sheets if anyone has any. Chuck has been helping baby proof the draws in the kitchen. We sure don't want JJ getting hurt or getting into something he shouldn't. You know how kids are. You just never know what they will do next.

Getting Ready for Jessica and JJ

This weekend has been alot of work and frustration. My daughter Jessica and my grandson is going to come and visit for a month and then we are going to take them back in March. Jason is in the middle of race season, well the beginning part. I was going to fly over to her place as a Christmas present, but instead she is coming here so we can all visit with her and JJ and so she can see her friends.

But in getting ready for them, isn't that easy. I have to baby proof my house. You know how little hands are. They get into everything, even if there isn't anything to get into. So off I go to get the spare room ready and put a borrowed baby crib. Now I have to go get some stuff from Beckiah. She has three boys and has stuff I can use. So I have been doing that. I am looking for a Elmo poster, so if anyone has one, let me know. Its really nice too that I have friends that have kid things I can borrow. It would be a pain to have to buy something for just a month.

On another note, we will be eventually be moving. So at the same time, we are packing things away that I don't need. So then I won't be stressing out over that. But we won't be moving for a couple months. Which is nice... I can take my time. Jessica will be helping me with getting stuff done.

But we are looking forward to Jessica and JJ getting here on the 17th. It will be nice having some family time and getting together as a family.

So, now I need to get back to working on things.

Digging For Gold

When my daughter Jessica sent me this picture of JJ picking his nose, I couldn't help but laugh over how funny this is. JJ looks like he is having a good time doing what he is doing. I do wonder if Jessica is going to live to regret it, lol. I know if they are like any other parents, they will have a list of "JJ's Most Embarrassing Moments" He is a cute little guy though. I just wish they didn't live all the way in North Carolina. I think I am going to fly Jessica up here for about 3 or 4 weeks. That way she can visit with everyone else and that gives her a chance to get out and more then likely we could go to Az to see her in laws or invite them up here.

Happy Birthday JJ= 1 yrs old

Wow, it has been a year now and you are officially a year old... You are a very speical boy who has a mommy and daddy that love you and your G-Ma (ME) loves you too. I hope you have a great day and that mommy gives you everything you want. Although I think she does that anyhow, lol. You are a tad bit spoiled in case your mommy and daddy hasn't told you that yet.

There has been a lot that has happened in the year since you were born. You have learned how to say dadda, you can eat food on your own, you can drink from a sippy cup, well somewhat. You can drive your momma crazy. Three cheers for doing that one, lol. You have touched the hearts and lives of everyone you meet and you have just rcently learned how to walk. Way to go JJ. Your Awesome...

I am planning on making a trip out there at some time and will see you. We will go do something fun and exciting. Maybe we will go to your grandpas favorite place. That would be Chucky Cheese. He is a big mouse you know. But even though I am not in NC, I am very much thinking of you and also thinking that I need to get your present out and on its way to you. Its such a big box and G-Ma has to lift it to get it mailed. That is easier said then done you know.

But to my Mister Mister, have a great Birthday and have fun. I love you very much and give G-Ma a call when you see this message, well have your momma call G-Ma..

Ok, I know you all have heard about JJ. He is my youngest grandson and is about to turn 1, day after tommorrow. He is getting to be a big guy. I am such a procrastinator, I have his present and his card and niether one have I sent off. I should be fired, lol. But I know he knows I love him dearly. Really I would love to get his present out of my dining room, It takes up alot of room. But like I said, I am a procrastinator. But I will share the video that my daughter Jessica just sent me of JJ walking. He sure is cute... I must say, I have 4 of the cutest grandsons ever :)

Has it already been a year?

I get phone calls from my daughter Jessica all the time. Most parents complain about how they never hear from thier kids when they grow up and get married. I have to say, I am very blessed in this way.

It has been funny lately though with Jessica. My Jessica has been trying for many years to have a baby. She gave up on the thought of having her own children and decided they might need to try adoption. She has polycystic overies and I guess it makes it hard to concieve. So after years of trying, they finally got the news they were waiting for. They were pregnant! I am thinking, wow, now I get the grand-daughter. We have three grandsons, so here we go. To make a long story short. Jessica was having a boy. I have decided that girls are a long shot in our family,lol. But back to Jessica. She calls me alot and just tells me "JJ is just the cutest". Did you know that mom? Well, of course I am not going to argue with her over that. But I can't show paritality either,lol. But I have to say, he sure is cute. But lately he has been taking small steps and gets all excited over that. Jessica is so proud to finally make it to the mommy crowd. :) What I was thinking about during all her calls about how happy and overjoyed she is to have JJ and to experience mother hood. Even on the sleepless nights. I think about all those kids who are brought into this world where parents don't want them or they are abused and killed. There are people out there wanting to adopt these kids, and yet parents don't see the blessings they have right before thier eyes.

How can you look into a childs face and not see the wonder and blessings from above. When they first say momma or dadda, or as JJ says YEAH. That is his word lately. But what is it that makes a parent snap as they do? I just don't get it.

But JJ turns 1 yr old on Nov 5th at 6:48 pm EST. I wonder if she is going to have his party at that time or what? I always did that with Jessica... It was offically the anniversary of her birth at 7:29 pm. Jessica is having a hard time not giving JJ his presents. She got him the Elmo Live and all other kinds of things. I am very proud of her and my son in law Jason. JJ is a bit spoiled, but it is nice to see that they love JJ and want the best for him and that they look at JJ as a special gift.

I am going to close this by saying, please cherish your kids, love your kids, be willing to discipline your kids, raise them in a Godly home, be parents to your kids... And if you do these things, you will have wonderful kids like I do. My girls are both adults with thier own kids, but they carry on what they have learned. I just hope they don't carry on my mistakes and moodiness :).
